i'm so bummed i didnt get around to voting on ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) crywolf and got eliminated cause of it :-[ oh well its still awesome i hope i get to do it next time around as well and hope i'm not such an ass and busy a lot/having narcolepsy. its still the coolest thing ive ever seen on this site

ugh i love art so much. it was so great when lindsay was down here, because she just finished her first year of art school and i loved talking to her about art and what her school is like and everything. it was amazing. we went to the mall together and were in a high end home decorating store and it was so funny, we both bee-lined for the same sculpture. it was a woman's figure but made entirely out of knuts (like knuts and bolts) and had missing pieces... and then the same thing with the wall art. i hate having "art" around the house that you buy at like, kohls or something and you know a million other people have the same thing "decorating" their house. i do love prints though -- but prints of pop culture things. i have a framed i love lucy poster, and one of audrey hepburn... and then all photography/drawings i bought on the street in new york city. i hate screening on canvas. i wish i had more money to spend on art, i really do.
what inspired this post was banksy's new art exhibit. yessss i am one of those people who really loves banksy, not ashamed of it. i think he is controversial and his art makes you think/laugh. i love wit and social commentary. i think he's the damien hirst of our generation.
